Sitting here trying to soak in all of Genesis. You guys, it’s a lot. So much is packed in there.
I reflected on Joseph’s faith in God. At every turn and every misfortune that fell upon him, he was still faithful to God. He was never angry with Him. He never faltered in his faith. He just trusted Him and knew that everything would turn out fine. And it did. Amen?
So taking a break from all of this I flipped to Matthew (where my bookmark was from last Sunday) and came across “the great commission” and my notes. Here it is from the NIV.
What does Joseph have to do with the Great Commission? Faith. Having faith and trusting in God like Joseph allows us to follow Jesus in faith and do as he has commissioned us. “Go in faith.”
